Within a couple of years - about 30 yrs now (starting 1993/4?). Initially was 35mm yachtmaster "mid-size". Maybe 5-6 yrs later swapped that for a 40mm yachtmaster. Then sold that around 2010 and acquired (over thenext few yrs) a number of different Rolex models: subs, GMT, daytonas. So it's been right around 30 yrs now

36 years. My parents bought me an OP Date in 1988 when I graduated from University. I still have it and wear it as a dress watch. I bought a BLNR GMT in 2015 and an Explorer II in Dec of 23. Both from an AD

33 years. A 16233 was my first, a gift for college graduation and still the most sentimental to me.

I posted 1987, but it means 37 years. SS DJ jubilee. My last Rolex purchase is a GMT-II leftie.
Rolex on my dad wrist was was first 57 years ago, Datejust 36mm SS oyster My grandfather’s was 58 years ago Date, 18k gold 34mm oyster Rolex is classic, a watch when you say “achieved” Rolex DD’s 40 were my grail and feel lucky to have 3, in each gold color. The feeling of a DD for me is: “I made it, I’ve worked hard” (when turned 60) and “ I have the most beautiful timeless heavy watch” , I’m a high roller , but not about $$$, but about high roller in style.

Bought my first in 2007. I was 23. It was a mint, all original 16750 matte dial. I bought it off of Craigslist for $1500. Not my first "real" watch. I had bought a 1967 Speedmaster 321 on ebay in 2000 for about $1000 after caddying all summer. The hobby was much more fun 15-20 years ago!

Only since about 2014, but I pretty much didn't wear a watch at all for the 25 years leading up to then, any only off and on for the decade or so prior to that 25 year period.

I bought my sub new in 1990 and wore it pretty much full time for thirty years. The original bracelet lasted 20 years before I bought a replacement.
