I am pretty lucky. Have it for 4 years and never experienced the date issue. Whenever I pick it up, wind it and it works.

Once the date issue remedy was implemented, a couple years ago now, the issue has seemed nonexistent. I read Tudor discovered the movements needed to be cased before a proper fix could be determined.

Also, the same movement has been used on newer releases that have shown no date advance problems, which leads me to believe all is good.

A watch most people ignore by now

Great reference but a bit big for my wrist so I went for his younger brother and he has become my daily wearer!

I really enjoy mine! Always a refreshing change after a long stretch with the SD43.

I love Tudors, but the GMT never did it for me.

I see Dan posting his, and I'm like WOW that’s beautiful! And then I see other people posting theirs and I realise it's a watch I don't realluy want or need.

@Dan Pierce , what camera do you use for these BB GMT shots? I've never seen the colours pop so much on this particular watch!

William, what is your favourite strap or bracelet for the BB GMT?

Nothing more than a iPhone. As my good friend Jocke taught me a long time ago, it ain't the camera, it's the photographer.

When the BB GMT was released I thought Tudor got the bezel colors wrong. And being colorblind I thought the muted colors would look black or non distinguishable. In fact, I'm always happily surprised how much the Pepsi colors pop. Lighting, natural especially, certainly helps w/ photographs as well.

I had the date issue, got it serviced, and it is going strong ever since. I also have a second one that never had the issue.
Totally solid everyday tool watch. Highly recommended.

I like the leather straps that are some what cordovan colored. I think they look retro and match well with the bezel.

I like that strap too, looks good in your photo. I tried to buy one from Tudor for mine, but they don’t make them anymore so I keep mine on the bracelet. Thanks for your thoughts.
