Thinking about SS to PM...
Lately I have been thinking about a white gold day date 36mm. They seem to be a good value right now compared to everything else.
Value is not the reason I have been thinking about the DD, I also have a 36mm Exp 1 and I really like the size on my wrist. Secondly I really like the president bracelet. The issue is I would need to move some pieces from my current collection to get a DD. My collection is Sub heavy but I really enjoy wearing each watch in my collection. My question is would you move two SS (or 3) for one PM? Here is my collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Yes. I’d sell the Omega and 16610 for a PM DD. That’ll leave you with a pretty diversified collection.

I like the thinking. Love the DD36, in fact I picked up one in November and haven’t worn anything since.

If you like the DD and it suits your budget, sure. If I had to move two from your collection I’d move the Ultraman while it is popular and the 14060. I’d keep the LV, and maybe source a black bezel to switch it up if you miss the 14060.
Good luck! |

I'd get rid of the entire collection except the Kermit to be honest.

Keep the LV, ultraman and ceramic sub. Trade the other 2 out. That will be a terrific collection.

Keep the LV and either the ceramic sub or explorer, I prefer keeping the explorer since already having the LV sub and you said you prefer 36mm. Sell everything else and get a DD preferably another dial besides black, you would have a great collection.

I did. I unloaded a sub date, DJ, navitimer, and a PAM for a YG DD. Best and worst move I ever made. Best in that my DD is now my go-to watch, and the rest of my collection gets limited wear time. And therein lies why it was my worst move, lol. I have to force myself to wear my other watches, so much so that I have lately been pondering unloading my daytonaC and bluesy for a WG DD to go along with my YG DD.
If I were you, I would trade everything but that Kermit for the DD. |

I like the dd36 a lot. However I’d go DD40 because I like the dial variations better. I’m hoping for Rolex to release more dial variations on the dd36 this Basel. If they do a nice sunburst blue dial without the diamonds (similar to the dial on the WG DD40) that’d be my choice

Get the numbers for your watches on a trade and see what needs to go to cover the DD. Decide if you are willing to part with the watches and move on. Nice collection and I like the Kermit and the Ultraman.

Smart move you are thinking of making. Personally I prefer YG DD 36mm but the WG looks great too. As others have mentioned, the president bracelet is sweet!

You don't need more than one sub unless you intend to collect them. Pick one. Sell the other two.

Tough choices but PM is worth it
If you end up with a DD, LV and Exp would be pretty sweet combo |

Yes go for it. But if you can wear a Sub then go with a DD 40. It just looks better and the dial options are great
