1947 Breitling Datora rescue!
Dear Friends,
here's a 785 I chanced upon with a rare dial configuration with gold dot markers on the dial. I initially wasn't sure about this configuration so contacted knowledgeable forum friends who confirmed it was all original. I then came across some advertisements (seen in pics) showing the same dial configuration and knew I had to breathe life into this watch. Off it went to a known vintage Breitling repairer who did his best to preserve this watch for the future. Offcourse the dial does show it's age so not much could be done about that but he put in plenty of effort into getting the movement and parts working again besides some other essential repairs. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Before Pics At the Spa After Pics
