45th Anniversary Apollo 11

Hi Everyone-

Anybody get their hands on one of these beauties yet???? Saw one a The Omega Boutique and one at a local AD (it was on hold unfortunately). Just wanted to get some impressions from people who have purchased and worn for a little while.

Thanks BTW.......this model could be the nicest Omega Speedy ever

Yes, picked one up less than a week ago.
An amazing watch, full of details- the photos IMHO just don't do it any justice.
You need to pick it up- it's amazingly light thanks to the Ti body- and really look at the dial. Those raised elements within the dial are hypnotic- just the raised segments gleam- while the recessed portions are a beautiful dull matte. The dial colour itself is amazing- in some light, it looks like a grey chocolate mix and at other times, it's a deep grey.
And it's a perfect foil to the red-gold stick markers (beautifully angled btw) and the hands.

Very easy to wind, much easier than the original Speed master.

Yup, a great watch!

I really didn't like this watch until omega explained the reasoning behind the materials and color choice. I'm a convert now. Gorgeous machine
