Yep that's exactly my issue. I have tried every single setting possible multiple times and I am in the "in between" zone. One adjustment one way and the bracelet fits but only with easy link closed, if I open easy link it's way too loose. Move it the other way and it's way too tight with easy link closed. Still having all those options does allow me to get the proper fit, but I have to sacrifice easy links functionality. I have it on the loosest micro adjustment setting with easy link open and the watches fit perfectly but I can't use easy link. If I had a half link I would be able to use it. It kind of sucks but I'm glad it's there because it did allow me to find the right fit My wrist is 7.25'' for reference |

Most of the time I leave it as is and it is sized correctly. But I just returned from a weekend in La Quinta, CA and with temps up to 109 I wore my BLNR with the easy link extended most of the weekend. It is really nice to have when needed, but most of the time I leave it as is.

A half link from a SubC bracelet will fit I believe. I want to say one of our moderators...mike...has it in his. You just have to polish the center link

I have never had to use mine, the watch has been to Spain and Italy on numerous occasions.

Bump
Just got mine Monday and installed it on my OP36. Seems like with all settings being equal, the closed easylink makes for a slightly tighter fit than the usual link (not sure what that last link is called). Really not bad, fits well closed when I'm not being active (evenings watching TV, daytime working at my desk), but I find as soon as I'm even mildly active, out and about, my wrist tightens a bit and I have to extend the easylink. So I find myself adjusting it a few times during the day. Should there be any concerns about using it so much that eventually it doesn't "clip" as well? Sent from my SM-G973W using Tapatalk |

I almost never use the easy link on my GMT, but I use the glidelock on my sub almost every time I wear it. The only downside to the glidelock clasp imho is that it's quite a bit bigger (length wise) than the GMT's clasp with the easy-link

I have found I use the extension mainly in the summer months. As a fellow Texan, I’m sure you’re well aware how hot it gets here. That’s when I use the expansion so it’s not so tight and can get some air under there.

Never use either the easy link or glide lock - which in my view makes the clasp too long and uncomfortable.
