Exactly, and that's why I said that, even the big one looks small/odd on your wrist to me. I think that's why a watch with a more characterful, distinct appearance, like your VC, would probably be better.

I agree try the TT. I don’t think that SS looks great on your wrist shots. But maybe seen in person it could look great on you.

Also try some of the coloured dial variants too

I also have always wanted a Cartier. But I have always been held back by not being quite sure of the aesthetic, the high scratch risk, and I ultimately can’t help but think of Cartier as a fashion brand not ‘worthy’ of my watch money.

One day I will get one too though. I feel like it’s a MUST (pardon the pun). But with so many variants I find it near impossible to make my mind up.

Breguet in a different league, especially the dial, case and movement finishing - I love my Marine, a very underrated brand and timepiece and whisper it….still a bargain pre-loved. Here is mine

I agree, it looks like you are wearing your wife’s watch. I actually had the same issue with the santos.
You can try the large santos with a green/ blue dial, which don’t look as big/ present on the wrist from a glance.

Just picked up the watch. It is stunning, love at first sight. I tried all sizes both ss and two tone from Cartier but didn’t liked how they fit me.
First pics.

Congrats love it! That feeling when you first put it on stays for all the subsequent days too or did for me at least.

Also a positive looks like you got the shorter rubber strap version. They have one thats 10mm (I think) longer and its a little long the one you have is the perfect size for 95% of wrists. Also speaking of the strap an underrated feature is how great the metal strap keepers are such a small but fantastic detail one of many with this watch.

Noted. I’ll take photos only with bracelets by the watch
