Change Bezel GMT II
I am looking to change my bezel from black to the blue/black. I have watched a few videos and done some research. It seems to be a reasonably easy process I can handle myself. The issue I have is sourcing a bezel of good quality. I cannot tell or have no experience with any. Is there a recommended supplier any of you have purchased from? Thanks in advance.

Ceramic inserts are not a DIY change special dies and press are needed and would doubt if you could even source the black/blue ceramic insert if you could would cost around $400.Now the older 16710 GMT11 inserts were a DIY change and cost wise around $75 or less from Rolex.

Don't do it. It is not just the blue color. You pay for the 'feeling'. Even if you somehow change it, which I highly doubt, you are not going to get the happiness of owning the original. Be happy with what you have or flip it.

And how about the GMT hand, have you thought about that?
A black and blue bezel and a green GMT hand. Don't think it will look very nice.

Yes upon further review, it appears the ceramic bezel is not a DIY process. I'm not opposed to spending $400 to change it once in a while though if that was the cost. A lot of good points made by all so far though. I didn't think of the green with the blue. I do seem to want to change a lot but I just purchased a Milgauss in March but got bored of it. Now a GMT II a month ago and already looking at ways to change it. I somehow stuck with my Omega Seamaster for 10 years with no issue.

I bought a new SubC last December and wanted to change it up occasionally with bezels of different colors. I did researches in this forum and the conclusion was the same. It's not a DIY, not worth the money and effort.

I don't think it will look good with green gmt ii writing and a green hand regardless if it's diy or not , not worth the time or money imho

If you're getting bored quickly and want a watch you can change up I'd recommend a 16710. Between the 3 bezel inserts and oyster/jubilee bracelets you can have 6 different combos in one watch. As padi says, it's DIY with the older models but not the new ones, even if you could somehow source a black/blue insert (which you can't)
