How many Tudor BB 79220N (Eta) on the forum?

Wondering how many Black Bay 79220N on the forum? The black version with the ETA movement had a short production run.

If you own one post a pic. Love the Rose and the simile face.

Here is mine. Pardon the dust.

I owned one, but found the thickness and weight didn't work well for me. Still, the design and quality were great. I bought the BB58 and find that a better match for me. Still, the Smiley Face is a great look! Enjoy it.

Not the black, but I've got the original ETA burgundy, which is still keeping perfect time, unserviced, at more than 11 years old. I would have bought the black, though, if I didn't already own the burgundy at the time. Would still choose one over its contemporary Submariner (which is the same thickness).

Same as above, I had one but found it too thick, sold it and got the BB58, a much better fit on me. No regrets

Same with blue bezel. While true that it wears large the fit can easily be fine tuned with the half link from Uncle Seiko/Uncle Straps. The rose and smiley face and ETA movement are iconic. Keeper.

Really enjoy these. Both purchased new approximately 9 years ago and keeping excellent time.

Very cool. So up to three 79220Ns on the forum? Would have thought more.

I bought the burgundy too. Bought them both at the same time. Red gets more wrist time.

Great watch.

I always wanted a blue to complete the trio. The white markers on the blue bezel version really pops.

I am also an owner of the 79220N. Purchased additional leather strap and deployant clasp but almost always wear on black Pelagos rubber strap with the ss bracelet end links. Wears great in the summer. This watch has become my “beater” and will always have a home in my collection.

Nice looking watch, and I do like the smile effect, and the Tudor Rose, but the BB58 fits me better, and I like that it has an in-house movement, rather than an ETA. The whole Black Bay line has a very similar pleasing aesthetic.

One of my favorite. I wear it almost exclusively on a fabric strap.

I had one. Gave it to my son in law a couple years ago. He never wears it. I wish I could get it back.

If he never wears it, ask him what he would wear ( hopefully a nice Seiko, or something similar), and tactfully ask for it back.

Great idea. But don't be surprised when he says an Apple watch.

On the hunt for a 79220N, but not successful yet.

Picked up a NOS 79220B from the AD on my honeymoon in Barbados last summer.
