Mainly the top 3-4 models,
1-Sub C SS?
2- Daytona?
3- DSSD?
4- TRF choice....

5- Or maybe the datejust?...thanks Bob

What you have to do is to send an email to Riccardo.Marini@Rolex.com .

He'll be happy to give you a detailed report with all the numbers you want ...

I have read......and these figures are not from Rolex......between 700,000-800,000
watches per year.
I am sure this includes men's & women's models......I couldn't find any figures broken
down by model.

Well without doubt the biggest seller worldwide is the DJ, and most of these are sold in Asia today. As for watches sold in the USA well Rolex USA is a separate company from the rest of Rolex SA so only they would know how many watches sold there.

Do you know if there is a data base or resource to find some hard numbers?

Highly unlikely. Rolex is very secretive. I'm sure we would all like to know.

We will never officially have figure, that's one of the benefits of being a private company.

Rolex (including RUSA) does not release sales figures or units sold. Period.
All you will get will be some 'experts' guess.

This is absolutely correct, Bob, these are the official figures of COSC for Rolex chronometer movements per year.

But as you said, it is all models, women's and men's watches.

My guess is that USA gets maybe 10% of the world market, i.e. around 80'000 new Rolex watches per year.

And the top seller is DJ, for sure.

Submariner might be another 10% or 8000 (or even less) per year for USA.

As you can see, this is not a mass product....And everybody who owns one should be happy all day long...

The US gets the lion's share of Rolex watches... I would say 90.000 of them per year ?

Ten percent seems about right. Remember not every Rolex is COSC so the number maybe closer to 100k per year.

I would guess the US get's more than 80,000 Rolex's a year, but that's my guess, if they're making 800,000 a year, I feel the US is definitely one of the biggest markets..... Anyone agree?
