Worn the way its suppose to be worn.

We all get a bit crazy and careful about our watches; me included. But some just need to be worn like they are suppose to.

Not at all. My wrist is bent backwards as I'm holding onto the edge of the patio under the paper.

I agree. A well worn watch is a watch worn well.

GMT is supposed to be an airline pilot / traveller watch...
For such activity if you need a purpose built Rolex an Explorer II is definitely a better fit!

"The way it's supposed to be worn"...

Actually, that ought to be the general idea adopted in picking a watch for purchase. One's occupation should play a factor too.. But I think to most, purchase is more of a show off of one's wealth or just following the trend.

Not sure about "supposed" to be worn, but yes it can be worn this way. GMT's were intended "or supposed" for pilots and travelers. Looks a bit tight.

I wear my Sub as a beater basically and do all kinds of things with it but I must say that when it comes to digging, lifting rocks, dirt etc. you really do want to be kind of careful because it's easy to ding up a watch in a way that is very noticiable when you start getting into metal tools, rocks, dirt, lifting things. I messed up a Patek once when I got carried away fixing something with the watch on forgetting that I had it on my wrist and regret that to this day. Now I'm a bit more careful. I used to have a datejust that I never took off my wrist for 10 years straight and it didn't show dings and scratches at all but that's not the case for many other other pieces and I learned this the hard way.

folks it's just a watch.

Like slamming a nice steel thing into kydex makes certain groups cringe.

I also use my nicer hammer over the others working on the Jeep / Toyota!
