Lol.
You'll have to wait until they get old and start to slow down.

So sorry for your loss. Our 9 year old Cockapoo suddenly started having seizures. After lots of tests, bloodwork, etc. , the Vet and I both guessed it was a brain tumor, and we let him go. It was awful. Give yourself time to grieve, and then get a new pup to love. That’s what we did.

Thanks for the well-wishes, folks. This weekend was hard. I haven't cried this much...probably since my grandmother passed away when I was in high school. House just feels a bit empty.

Absolutely the worst. Sincere condolences. Losing our 4 legged baby at almost 18 was gut wrenching. Hang in there.

Our newest pack member rescue pooch is repairing the giant hole in our hearts though.

I feel your pain. I truely do.

Nothing I can say will help. Just sending a little hug.

As I've somewhat started coming to terms with this, it seems as though Nugget suffered from IMHA/ Evan's Syndrome, given how rapidly things went bad, and based on what I remember the vet saying (she also mentioned IMHA, but the severity of it did not register when I was talking with her...nothing really registered).

The only comfort I take in this that I don't believe he was in any pain.

What I'll never be able to answer is what triggered it. And I don't know if I'll ever be ok with that.

Regardless - thanks, everyone, for the kind words. Means a lot.
