Thank you for all who showed up to our GTG last night. A good time was had by all. It is nice to be able to sit down with like-minded individuals.

Hopefully we have a bigger turnout on the next GTG.

Do any of you have a line on an Omega AD in town? Yes, gasp, I'm thinking of picking up a PO Ti and am looking around to see if anyone has a local connection for a good discount on Omega watches. You can PM me the info. And, yes, I still love my Rolex watches. :) Cheers.

I am in the market for a used watch to add to my collection. So I am looking for a store that would sell older model Explorers, GMT's, Omegas and others of similar calibre.

I know about Otto Friedl, and I will check them out. Anyone know of any others?

..Aug 15th doesnt work for me..
Just checked my sched and found I/we're already 'booked' for an 'Annual' BBQ with good friends..!!

If this happens on the 15th, send my best wishes.... and of course, wishing we could attend.....!!

I'm wondering what the sales tax is like in Vancouver? Also, any recommendations on where to purchase from? From a quick peruse of this thread it looked like Montecristo's is the place to go. Thanks to the guys who showed up tonight at our GTG. It is too bad that more members did not make it out tonight, but a good time was still had.
