26240ST blue dial - different nuances?

As a general feeling, I am not blown away by blue dials, I feel the hype around blue is too much and prefer the black as a classic.

Nevertheless, I visited it a London Boutique a couple of weeks ago and was mesmerised by the blue in the 26240ST.
Plus that the black in my 15500ST is quite dull.

Are there differences in nuances between the years for 26240ST? MK1/2/3 and so on, as Rolex is doing? The SA said there are but I don’t remember this topic coming up in here.

I think all the 26240 watches have the same shade of blue. It is a different blue then the previous model
