126500LN or 116500LN? I went for…
The older series 116500LN after much contemplation! After comparing both series between white and black dials I went grey for the Panda 116500LN as I felt it was best looking amongst all.
I normally go for black dials but this def pops more and more outstanding (although the 126500 looks better for the black dial). So happy to add this to my collection! This is def a collectible item. I have some pics for you to compare as well. I apologies for the bad pics as I had to reduce resolution in order to upload the pics. Thanks everyone for listening! |

Congratulations! I prefer the bezel on the 116500 lacking the metal ring.

Congratulations … fun wearing times ahead.
I like the “fatter” subdials of the 11 Series watches, both in White and Black. |

Had the 116500LN white but sold away after few weeks..126500LN white just looks better to me now..the Zenith ring counters and the outer bezel rim, all glimpse of the earlier generations of Daytona. Not to mention the symmetrical lugs and more comfy case shape.

I had the opportunity to buy the white 126500 as well.. but I chose the 116500 white just like you did! It's the original and classic beauty!

Agreed! There's this guy named Karleonesub16610 who frequents this sub and has an IG that loves to talk about how much better the 126 white is compared to the 116. It's absolutely fine that he feels that way but for him to constantly put down the 116 white is ridiculous!

116500 has more robust movement and more character with more pronounced contrast.
Also the case is basically perfect. 116500 is the shortest daytona ceramic production also. |

Yeah, it’s nonsensical to love the 126 and HATE the 116. The differences aren’t that stark to have such an extreme contrasting opinion between the two. I love em both, but like my kids, I may have a favorite…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

From what I gather, the 6263 was in production approx. 17 years. The 16520 was in production for approx. 12 years and the 116520 was in production for approx. 16 years, so we are back to around the 1970’s, before a Daytona last had such a short run. It’s gonna be interesting to see, how long the 126500 are gonna be available (and what comes next). |

Agreed - I have seen several pics, where I have been like “Ooh that’s the new one….oh wait….no that’s the old one….no wait….okay, does it have a metal ring around the bezel?”

Fantastic! Yes I was really surprised I got the 116 too as I was looking at 126 all these while.. but when I finally saw both in person, I preferred the bolder contrasts in the 116.

Beautiful choice! We own the shortest production Daytona to date. The one and only original ceramic Daytona. 116 Wins

Congrats, the Panda 116500 is the way to go. It's better looking without the cheap ring, and thin subdials, just wait until the new model thing wears off. Collectors will realise Rolex made a mistake with the new Daytona similar to the Hulk vs Starbucks Sub.

I have the black 126500 but in the process of trading it for the white 11. The black is stunning but I fancy the pop of the white which i prefer on the 11.
