Rolex GMT from 1968 tritium dial / zinc sulfide hands
Hello everyone,
I have a question about a dial-hand combination. A 1675 from 1968 has a Long E - MK1 dial. As expected with "dead" tritium. However, the hands of the watch are coated with the zinc sulfide mixture, which means that they still react typically and briefly under UV light. Have you ever seen this before? For me, this combination does not seem impossible in a watch from 1968. I look forward to your opinions. Kind regards Alex |
