First Omega. Nice, but a bit disappointed...

I just received my Blue Railmaster from Jomashop (first purchase), and it's much nicer in person than in pics. I'm impressed!

However, I wasn't impressed by the stock bracelet (STZ007645) because it doesn't fit! I can't even get it over my hand let alone on to my wrist. Heck, my wife could barely get it over her hand (I have average-sized hands, and my wrist is approx. 7.5.") I guess I should have checked beforehand, but I'm used to Rolex (Explorer/DateJust) and I *thought* I'd be fine.

Not being familar with Omega. I did a quick lookup on the 'net to see if perhaps some links were missing, but they all seem to be there -- looks like 8 full and two halves per each side. Is that correct?

If so, then I guess I'll have to go with straps as I assume extra links from Omega will be $$$.

Thanks

NEVER MIND. I couldn't see where the 2nd half of the clasp opened -- was looking for a button on the other side. What a dumb-a$$! LOL!!!!!!!

I'll get some up tomorrow. Currently, I'm doing a time check to ensure that it runs within specs before removing all the tags, stckers, etc. (The dial has much more color and depth when viwed in person).

Thanks! (Is there any way that I can edit the thread's title? It's a bit misleading now that it's been determined that the problem was with my eyes)

All good, it will eventually bury itself. I don't think you can edit the title, but I'm not sure. Fade away into obscurity.

Congrats on the new watch. I'm sure you will love it, esp on your comments about it in your first and recent post

Don't let this stop you from buying straps for your watch. A lot of Omega watches look great on straps.

Big congrats on the pickup. Glad you got it sorted. That is one heck of a deal Jomashop is running on that watch right now. Enjoy!

One of Omega's most underrated watches. Once the metal bracelet is correctly sized it is extremely comfortable, so much so that I can easily forget I'm wearing it. And as it's a Railmaster, it's very apt for my job :)

Nice picture, I like the the Railmaster line, don’t see many. That dial has a denim look, hope you enjoy it.

Go Bills, next year will be the year!!
