Alingi Red Bull Tudor FXD

Has anyone seen one of these yet? I dropped into my local Rolex/Tudor dealer today hoping to see one and the SA says they haven’t received any yet. Weirdly he said they had already received one of the new black ones just announced this week, it had been sold this morning. The Red Bull version was announced over a month ago.
He said he’d give me a call to come see it when they got one.

I ordered one thebday of the announcement, deposit and all via a subsidiary of Watches of Switzerland. And so far nothing, I think it's gonna be hard to get.

Saw one in Geneva last month. Both in the chronograph and non-chrono.

The chrono was really nice. They hit a home run with the sub dials IMHO.

The ceramic case struck me as odd. Not so much as because it was poorly done but simply because it is such a radically different feel than any watch material I have ever seen. It feels like a toy off the wrist as it is so light. Plus the bezel action is very firm and crisp. The opposite of the smoothness on my Sub. You do get used to it quickly though.

The strap was the only thing that left me wanting more. It just looked cheap at the end.

I saw the Chrono last week at the AD. Interesting piece.

My local AD had them when I was there a couple weeks ago.

Haven't seen one yet, but I have to say that, although I like drinking the odd can or two of Red Bull, I'm not sure I'd want "RED BULL" plastered all over the rehaut. But I am interested in seeing the new black one...!

It seems to get a lot of hate. I think it’s pretty damn cool looking - I want to check it out in person.

I just don't like the Alinigi text in the chapter ring.

I agree - could definitely do without that and Red Bull. Still think it’s a cool looking watches, haven’t seen it in person though.

Not for me with the cross branding. My AD has had a few and told me they have not been greatly requested.

Same here.

Also for that reason, no 007 Omega or Top Gun IWC

I am a huge F1 Red Bull fan but would not wear it if it was given to me.
Maybe I am weird but I also never ever wear shirts or clothes with conspicuous branding or prints with a Rolex on the wrist being the exception

My local WoS had an exhibition piece which I tried. Looks nice but wish it didn't have the Alinghi in the rehaut.

I visited WoS again today to pick up my DJ41 (serviced), and they have the even newer FXD with the green NATO strap, black dial/bezel. What's interesting about this FXD is that the bezel is unidirectional - which is a change from all the other FXDs. Not certain why Tudor did that.

(Note: Exhibition units only, not mine. Wasn't available for purchase)

That rehaut is totally off putting. Like the watch but would never wear it… too ostentatious and in your face

I am interested in the watch for its blue dial with red accents and the composite case, I’d never noticed the rehaut. I’ll reserve my opinion until I see it in person. It is strange that a few have been mentioned here at US dealers but the SA here seemed genuinely surprised that they had not seen one yet.
I have mentioned this AD before although I haven’t bought anything yet from them. They are the classic single location family jewelry store that also carries Rolex and Tudor. Our area has some real wealth in it and the next nearest dealer is hours away which I guess gives them some security. Interestingly, they recently expanded their floor space but the watch counters are still on the main floor not isolated as most US dealers are now doing.

Good to know that it's unidirectional. I thought that might have been a typo on the Tudor site.

Love the red seconds hand, but not the Red Bull text.

FWIW, I just picked up the Alinghi FXD Chronograph and i love it. i already own the MN fxd so was looking forward to an fxd chrono, with a twist

Nice positive feel on the chrono pushers, relatively slim case (for a Tudor Chrono) and great colour combination of black case and bezel insert with blue face and red sub dial rings and seconds hand. I am also happy that they retained the countdown bezel of the original MN fxd rather than put a std dive bezel on it.

The Rehaut Red Bull... text is there but its not in your face despite what the youtube crowd kept saying.

As for the other criticism I've heard that you can't use the chronograph due to the text replacing the markers on the rehaut, the bezel has minute markers all the way around so no issue again.

The carbon composite case has a nice warm feel to it, I look forward to see how it will wear over-time.

I would suggest anyone who is mildly interested to go and physically have a look at it and frankly, ignore some of the BS from Youtube reviewers.

I was at a Tudor event August 9th and they had 1 for sale that was purchased just before I was able to buy it. I am expecting the Chrono soon.
