Anniversary Breitling

I have the opportunity of buying an Anniversary (RAF) Breitling Aerospace at a massively reduced price. The watch is NIB from an authorised dealer. I'm not sure if these watches are a good investment as they are quite specialist to the owners. I do want the watch though as the RAF squadron is sentimental to me.
I know I wont be buying it as an investment and passing it down the line but do they depreciate more than a standard issue Aerospace ?

Thanks

Don't think that Breitling are the best investments.

Just buy the watch if you really like an enjoy it !

I don't think I really mean "investment". What I'm trying to get at is if it will be more or less valuable than a standard Aerospace model in years to come.

"Anniversary (RAF) Breitling Aerospace at a massively reduced price."

That should give you the clue.... They obviously can't sell it, hence the massive reduction... To answer your question, I should imagine the residual value on a limited piece would be a little stronger than a non limited piece.. Sadly, Breitlings just don't hold up so well.

Best of luck!

The watch hasn't been released yet and only selected people are getting the discounted price. Its coming out in about 8 months time as the 100th anniversary is next year. I can get £1200 of the RRP.

No watch is an investment and no one can answer your question.

Not released, massive discount . . . what does that tell you about how the future value would hold up?

How is 1200 a "massively reduced price". Many Breitlings typically sell for 25-35% off MSRP. Breitlings are nice enough watches but they don't retain their value well.

Buy the watch if you truly love it, don't buy it for another reason.
