Time check

The forums clock at the top of the page is 12 hours slow to me....

Try going into your User CP area, Click "Edit Options", scroll down to "Date & Time Options" and pop up the "Time Zone" option. Select YOUR zone, and click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page. That should do it!

Actually, since you are in Florida (like me), it should be "GMT-5" for EST...

Well Robert the time is showing correct for UK time for me,and exactly the same as my computer clockTry going into your User CP panel Click Edit Options, scroll down to Date and Time Options, and check your pop up the Time Zone option. Select your time-zone, and click Save Changes on the bottom of the page. Then all should be well for you

Well Allan looks like two great minds were thinking almost the same.

Oh, I see what you mean, Robert. It says 12:24 AM - it should be PM. Yeah, I hadn't noticed that before. My computer clock is correct, and the settings for the board are correct. Wonder what's up with that?

Just noticed the posting times its showing for your last post Allan 05.25am but the forum clock for me is showing correct UK time.

Yup, it is 12 hours off. My CP settings say Lima, Peru and East coast US. My computer clock is alright too. And to confirm that Greenwich and Tampa are correct, I looked at my trusty GMT II on my wrist!

Interesting... After 1:00, the time is now indicating PM. So the code is telling the clock to indicate PM after the 1:00 hour, instead of after the 12:00 hour. We are getting there...

Maybe the h>12 needs to be h>11. We want 12 to be pm.

I think that you may be on to something, Robert. I was zeroing in on that myself and testing it in my HTML editor, when it changed to PM after 1:00. I am going to test it further. I'll get back to you when I get some results. I'll have to temporarily set my computer's clock incorrectly to test it.

We'll see...

Set to 11. Tested and failed. At 12:01PM is displayed as 00:01 PM.
