Rolex GMT Commercial Pulled from YouTube

Did anyone see this 4 minute plus commercial on YouTube this morning? It was a fantastic commercial chronicling the history of the GMT up to present day on the Rolex channel including famous GMT wearing pilots and astronauts. I’ve gone to show the ad to my wife this evening having watched it at 07:45am BST and now it’s been pulled. Have I imagined it?!!!

[QUOTE=ZOOK;13223568]This one?

That’s it, thank you! I couldn’t find it anywhere until you posted it and it had disappeared from my library on YouTube. I thought they’d pulled it. What a fantastic advertisement.

"The iconic bezel has become perpetual." Maybe that's a hint that blue/red will never be discontinued.

I love that we are all digging for easter eggs on a Rolex commercial... this is Avengers End Game level of analytics! :)

It's funny they didn't cut the line about how it works for "every time zone" when there are like 15 of them offset from UTC by either 30 or 45 minutes.

I guess "almost every time zone" didn't have a great ring to it.

I was thinking the same, Rolex does give hints to customers
And the whole "it's hard to manufacture" BS isn't never going to be the reason they'd stop producing it. Rolex is a titan of manufacturing.

Watched it several times. It's Rolex marketing at it best.

Strangely, Rolex now says the GMT started in 1955, not 1954 as widely known and written in media.
So then next year it will be the 70th anniversary....

This was my first thought as well when I watched this video yesterday morning. Seems as if they are telling everyone “it is here to stay”

AEV,
I noticed this too.
It was noted elsewhere that they "recently" changed the narrative of when the GMT appeared. I wonder why!!

The 50th anniversary model was 2005 but I agree most sources say 1954 was the release date. I’m surprised someone here doesn’t pull out a picture of box and papers from 1954 to settle it…
