Change bezel Explorer II
Hey guys
I have a Rolex explorer 2 16570 and have heard it is possible to change the bezel to one from an old GMT. I read online that the bezel on the explorer should pop right off, but when i did it the glass also popped off, and it seems the glass and bezel cant really be separated. Anybody who has experience with this? Thank you in advance! |

Explorer II bracelets do not pop right off, it takes either proper technique, or the proper bezel removal tool. They are pressed on and tight as they are not intended to rotate or move.
Yes, the 16710 and the 16570 bezels can be interchanged although not all 16570 cases are drilled to accept the bezel click spring.
