OMG, my Muse and I were discussing that earlier this eve. She still calls it that(!).
From henceforth, the SS Sky-Dweller blue dial on the Jubilee bracelet shall be called..... the Luke Sky-Dweller so-it-is-written-so-shall-it-be-done.jpg SkwDweller_Jubilee_Wrist.jpg

Coke GMT would be nice! Perhaps a RH Sprite GMT as well. Cheers!

SD43 either gets retired altogether, or red text gets changed to white.

Why people insist in a new case for the gmt …. Just few years ago rolex update the gmt line up with the new movement… so why they will change the case diameter? Maybe reduce the line up to many variants but new case and diameter why ?

Rootbeer gmt - brown replaced with auburn and Giving jubilee option. Giving people coke revival they're clamouring for, but not exactly as was expected which would be very rolexy

Coke - White dial with white bezel. Instantly the number one most desirable watch in Columbia.

I don’t see it either. Currently reference is young and loved. Not time to blow it up.

When I got into watches my watch of choice was an Omega which is why I bought a 2009 Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. Besides also having a Speedmaster nothing from modern Omega gets me excited.
However every year I wait somewhat excitedly about any Rolex/Tudor releases which tells me plenty on what they are and what they have been able to achieve. Kudos to their marketing prowess. |

The blue on my BLRO is so dark it looks like a Coke. Maybe a black/grey on SS for the GMT.

Wishful thinking (and not for me), but a blue dial rose gold day date (like skyd) would be nice. Sapphire casebacks on more models also, but probably reserved for select pieces.
Black/grey would be cool. I’d be in line for that

That's 16 years without a design upgrade, other than insert colors, bracelet and metal options, and the coronet between swiss made. Everyone, especially the youtube experts, should stop with the Coke "preditions" year after year. It's no longer a prediction or insider news, but more of wishful thinking and probability. A better probability would be the right handed VTNR. |

With such a wait for the Ti YM42 to go on genereal sale, I doubt we'll see any other model going full Ti next year.

I think it will be the same as every year -
- There will be some incredibly minor changes to existing models that will attract comments of, “oh my god, that’s incredible!” from some, and “oh my god, they’ve ruined an icon!” from others. - The long prophesied “Coke” either will or won’t appear. More than likely the latter. - There will probably be something completely left-field that no-one asked for or wanted, and depending on how left-field it is, it will either have 90% of the membership instantly going bananas for it (Le Mans Daytona), or 90% of the membership hating it with a passion, only to start to come round to it after a few weeks once the ‘incoming’ threads start (Palm fronds, Celebration dial OP, DSC, etc).

"Celebration" dial will be replaced with birthday balloons instead of Dippin' Dots.
(In 2025 Rolex will also add a birthday cake...) |

No one ever knows. I think the safest bet would be a return of the Milgauss. I think we will get some heritage inspired cues in a redesign, but that it will remain avante garde in it's presentation as the more recent models have. I just can't see the GV glass going anywhere as it's become as synonymous with model as the lightening bolt hand.

I wonder if the new lugs they are using on the latest Daytona with a bit of a "horned" look could start to make their way onto other models? They look cool and almost like they hug the wrist a bit more.
I think they will do a new Milgauss at some point as well. It has been a quirky watch that keeps their catalog a bit interesting. |
