My last watch was pretty scratched up after a year or so, so maybe I want to ease into creating the patina of use . Yeah I will take it off, maybe in a couple of weeks.

Agree. It's my favorite pp. Pics don't do it justice, especially the beautiful sunburst chocolate dial. Can be dressed up or down. Very useful complications, a bit more wr, great legibility and lume. Surprised it isn't more popular being that pp has a history of making a few pilot watches. Enjoy that beauty.
