Incoming. Plus need help with 16600, bracelet problem.

Hi all, today I got received 16600. I was so happy because I wanted this watch for a long time and I finally found full set with papers and box.
The only problem is, on end of the bracelet on the inside I don’t see the bracelet part number as I saw on other examples on chrono24.
My watchmaker is not working until next week because of the virus and I really want to figure out what to do while I have the return window.
Is it something to worry about or that’s normal?
Thank you.

I just checked my no-holes Z- Dweller which I purchased new from AD in 2008 and it has no markings in those areas.

Interesting, this one is 2006 model.
Maybe they stopped doing that after certain year.
Anyone knows anything?

The Sea-Dweller was one of the first Rolex' to get the SEL (solid end link) bracelets. I'm not sure, but I think the end piece reference number was moved to inside the end piece. See Below:

There were subtle changes over the years. All watches above are correct.

For a while, during the changeover to SEL's, the last link was still stamped and the end-link had only the endlink part number, such as 901 stamped on it.

Since this is a semi-permanent configuration, they eventually dropped the end link part numbers and used up all of the stamped link halves, reverting to the actual bracelet number stamped on the ends.

Very helpful, thank you.

Nice pickup! I have a Z serial 16600 with EO3 clasp and looks just as yours does too.

My late Z is the same. It’s marked inside the end link.
