Watch Spottng

Went to an art festival this weekend and noticed quite a few Rolex.
4 Subs (5513, 16610, 116610LV, 124060) DD 36 YG Black dial and a 16710 faded Pepsi. Always good to see some of my favorites.

I saw a lot in Vegas yesterday. My homie at the $50 roulette table was betting $3k outside bets and had a TT Datejust.

You should shop at my local grocery store, the bag boy had on a sub this AM (yes it's real I know his dad LOL), the manager was wearing his DJ 41 and the owner and I talked about our DDs he loves my 40 and wants to give him 36 to his daughter and get a 40. There were a couple customers wearing AP and a few wearing Rolex.

Remind me to not attempt to purchase a watch in your neck of the woods. Who am I kidding, I’m clearly not the right kind of person to set foot in that kind of area.

I’m just disappointed that there weren’t more Dufours or Smiths or Rexhepis…

Sounds like a Whole Foods perhaps? Otherwise, I use to see a lot in the wild in Bellevue, WA (probably due to Microsoft).

I see Rolexes early in the morning at Costco where business owners shop using their Executive Memberships and carting away goods in their BMW and Merc SUVs before the other suburbanites arrive.

Nothing very flashy but maybe they bought them at Costco too. We used to have one or two Rolexes in their case each month.

What I've spotted amongst the young and trendy this year is TT DJs on Jubilee. Lots of Love Island types are wearing them and even Steelo from Ridiculousness is wearing one now and he has a very nice watch collection. Seems pretty random to have this more classical watch on so many young and tanned influencers but that seems on trend now.

Sounds like you have more chances of getting a Rolex down at the grocery store than you have from the AD

Yep, there are quite a few very affluent suburbs here. Unfortunately I don't live in one of them and know that grocery shopping there would for sure put a much larger dent in my wallet, which might explain the abundance of Rolexs.

I am in Orlando Disney now and in very good watch spotting turf every year. I will do a later post but it’s been very good watch spotting at Disney this year. A few unbelievable WIS interactions out of the blue for me. Even a TRF forum member that happened to find me by chance in passing.

It's fun seeing your favorite rolex watch in an exhibition.

It was so much better in the past. Now not as much. Used to see so many LV subs. Bell&Ross. Saw an all gold Panerai. Saw a gold Bulgari dive watch once that was just stunning. Now so many Apple Watches. Just not how it once was.

This post sounds like they are marking Rolex and then stealing ... it reminds me Barcelona that they are on the corners of the Rambla looking at the tourists' arms....

I was scared...

I was at the Delray Affair art & crafts festival in Delray Beach, FL on Saturday. I also noticed an abundance of Rolex watches similar to the ones you mentioned. I was wearing my Bluesy and my wife was wearing a customized Air King with Tiffany dial and diamond bezel. It was a beautiful day!

We were there Sunday, also a beautiful day. Forgot to list the TT Sub I saw and a few TT DJ's. There was a sea of Apple watches, which make the cool stuff stand out more.
