Nawwww. Nothing wrong with that. People get that way about cars, motorcycles, houses, wives, etc. Why do you think they put a 48 hour cooling off clause in many major purchase contracts? Nothing wrong with that.

My wife says she went through the same thing about 30 years ago, she just toughed it out.

You need six more. One for each day of the week.

Not me. I got my Daytona about a year ago and I'm still in love with it. I want another Rolex.

Rolexes are addictive. Not wearing one results in serious withdrawal symptoms. I learned that in medical school

I love the Rolex but sometimes you want to try something else for a change nothing else. My Submariner 116610 is guaranteed until January 2015 and wanted to sell it but I'm hoping to increase the list price to save a little more than what I put. As it seems that Rolex will not raise prices more because the list is unchanged since June 2012 I think it still will not be my turn. But your thinking is logical, often in a hurry somebody do things that later regret.
Regards.

Been there, flip it and problem solved.

If you bought right you should be able to get the vast majority of your money back.

It's a very simple remedy. Put it back in its box, buy a GShock and wear it for 1 month no matter what. The hype will return, believe me. If it doesn't then flip it and move on.

I only have two subs both of which are more than a year old. And I have to say I still get the good feeling everytime I strap one on.

Maybe Rolex doesn't compare to some of the other stuff you own?

I am like some on TRF I have become more interested in my watches as I have more of them. I know they are only a device to keep time, but I do now notice people's watches, and I enjoy changing between my own.

On the topic of a specific model, I bought my Daytona as something I did not expect I would like, and now absolutely love it, so love can grow. But at the end of the day they are just a watch.

I get bored with most watches (easily over 100 watches flipped) and ended up selling quite a few. I don't expect miracles and the novelty runs of after a few weeks. What I can tell you is the Rolexes are the ones that stick around the most in my dynamic collection. Take a few days, put it in the box. Come back and if you still don't like it, sell it. Problem fixed.

Are you bored or are you experiencing buyers remorse?

Ahh, maybe a different watch? I felt that way with my Anonimo, i liked the idea of having it, having a unique crown at 6. It never satisfied the hunger, I thought it would give me the same feel as a pam but I was wrong, tried three times and I just ended up selling them at a loss. Now I will just get a pam again and get it over with.

Id try a different watch! Sounds like you need some flash.A sub is a great staple watch but they can be boring to some as a only watch. As a one watch guy, i wanted something i can wear in any event. My datejust 2 i can wear to the beach with a bathing suit or with a tuxedo. You can do the same with a sub, but a 116610 will never have any flash factor.
