It's the Canon 100-400 on a Canon 6D.

It's kind of a monster pulled out to 400 with the lens hood. I don't use a neck strap so carrying it around all day was a workout.

Great! Nice lens. I'm using a 70-200L II 2.8 with the 2XII extender....really liking the combo.... My body is a 1DIII

Awesome. I wonder how the extender would work on my 100-400. Makes a lot more sense on your lens. Been considering it for a while, but I use the zoom so infrequently that it might be a waste. Still a cool little accessory to have.

some incredible shots there

if you don't mind some critic a few could do with some contrast and colour tweaks. For example the tiger. Hard to capture I'm sure but focus is spot on and sharpness excellent but appears quite flat and a contrast and colour bump might make it stand out more?

But not taking away anything, great photos, enjoyed viewing.

You would lose some IQ but get awesome reach. I don't believe you can AF though with the 100-400.

I don't mind at all. It. I occasionally make some adjustments in photoshop but didn't with any of these.

The Tiger and the gorilla were both behind plexiglass. Can't imagine how many people had put their hands on it because it wasn't very clean.
