Which Tudor GMT Do You Like Better?

My daughter bought me the Opaline dial GMT a few months back, it is a nice watch and timekeeping better than any Rolex i've owned. I dont mind the thickness but i wish it came with the t-fit bracelet.

Would love to try both on, the thinness of the 39 is great but could be small for me. Would be great to see them reduce the thickness of their regular GMT

I prefer the appearance and jubilee bracelet of the opaline dial, but it is too big for my tastes.

If you’re in need of a half link for proper fitment. The T-fit doesn’t solve that problem anyways. You end up with the t fit all the way in and it’s just too big or all the way out and just a little snug with no more adjustment capability. Even on the 5 Link. It's definitely not a glide lock comparable.

Poor man's Rolex? This was always funny to me as something is always the poor man's version of something else.

I voted Opaline (and I have one and love it) but I've told my AD I'm interested in the new 39mm version and I'd like that one too.

I'd rather look at the Opaline. I'd rather wear the 39mm on a rubber strap.

The faux rivets? I didn't even know it had these until I read something about it. Glanced down and thought "oh yeah, I see those now. I wonder why it's triggering so many?"

My Opaline GMT is -1 s/d worn and +1 s/d dial up on my nightstand. It's a stunner when the sun catches it. Winding it is a joy, so ultra smooth. There's no micro adjustment on the band but it gets me close enough and it was $4k and change. I think it's around 10 seconds slow after wearing it a year.

Besides my TT Sub, the only watch I love more than the Tudor is my $300 Seiko Cocktail Time.

While a modern ceramic Coke from Rolex was what I was expecting, the new gilt Coke from Tudor is ideal as a modern alternative so I can retire the old horse without having 2x 6 digit GMTs in the collection

I am first on the list with my A.D. when it arrives. My only conflict is I just purchased a 16700 GMT which I was hoping to get a lot of wrist time with. This Tudor GMT might just tick all the boxes. I had the black bay 58 in blue and black, the pro, and just couldn’t blond with them as they say. I hope this GMT fits the bill , those others all very well-made and generally well proportion ,just couldn’t seem to satisfy me.

I didn’t like the slab sides of the original BB GMT when I tried it on. I’d have to try on the new one and then wait a year to see if it develops date wheel issues or anything odd and then maybe!

I haven't gotten hands on with the GMT. I have always stayed away from Tudor GMTs due to the thickness.

My BB Pro GMT compliments my Rolex GMT collection nicely. I really like what Tudor has done with its GMT offerings. I thoroughly enjoy my Rolex and Tudor’s and am thankful for both!

I absolutely love my opaline! It has some vintage Rolex charm and a color scheme I really like. The dial has a lot of depth and changes depending on the lighting.

Given the pricing I think it punches far above its weight class…even if it is apparently a “poor man’s Rolex” to some.

They all have different charms, including the tool-ish BB Pro which I don’t have but admire. My favourite of these two is the “coke”. Would love to try one on.

Pretty consistent 2 for 1 for the newer - and smaller - GMT Coke. It also has the T-Fit clasp.
