turn-o-graph
i've been looking at this watch for a while. although, it's not high on my list of want-to-acquire rolexes it has a certain appeal to it that i just can't seem to shake, especially the blue face ss with wg dial. how about you guys? did you guys ever take a second look at this series?

I owned a SS grey dialled TOG late last year, sold it as I really didn't much like it. I just found the polished case and centre links on the bracelet much too 'blingy' and the red/black date wheel too garish. Everyone says how much they've improved the bracelets, but in the great scheme of things it didn't make any difference. I was also concerned at the cost of replacing the bezel - it seemed a little flimsy compared to, say, a sub - and in White gold I hate to think of the replacement cost!
Trying to be a cross between a DJ and a YM - IMHO, doesn't work! |

The top one on an oyster - that's the one I had. Girls watch I'm afraid. Mind you, she'd probably be hot!

I tried one on at my AD. I love the watch in SS with a white dial on an oyster .I think that the larger bezel helps to offset the smaller 36mm size of the watch. It's a little pricey for me, but I definitely want to own one eventually

I love the look and feel of the new TOG in black, with the solid Jubilee... but at 36mm, it's a watch I'll never own. Too damned small.

I think they are nice watches. I like them. If you wanted a dress sports watch, and like it, I would say get it.

[QUOTE=JJ Irani]Hi Bogey,
I think you mean WG bezel...something like these? Stunning looking watches....36 mm size, however, put me off!! sorry, yup jj i meant the wg bezel with blue dial.... i agree it's kinda small after using 40mm watches... but it has it's own appeal... just wondering what other people think cause i've never seen it on any other persons wrist except mine in the AD... i guess it's just not that popular... well, to each his own... thanks guys |

I know a guy that wears a black dial on jubilee regularly. Like Mr. K said, it's a great mix of sport and dress. It looks great on him I would definitely get one if they were a little cheaper

But with the TOGs, you must also bear in mind that you are getting the more expensive, updated, new bracelets.
