Seamaster Planet Ocean bezel replacement costs
Considering purchasing the 600m diver but there is a pretty significant scratch at the 6 o'clock. Seller claims estimates of under $200 to replace. Wondering if it's worth replacing or I just deal with it. Anyone have a bezel replaced?

I recommend that you jot down the full reference number of the model you're considering purchasing, and then contact a watchmaker who has an Omega parts account and inquire about a replacement bezel insert (I assume the insert is what's damaged, but you'll need to confirm). If it's an early Planet Ocean with an aluminum insert, then the seller's comment doesn't sound like a stretch; if it's a recent Planet Ocean with a ceramic insert then I would definitely try to verify a price. The watchmaker I rely on for this sort of repair is Nesbit's in Seattle, and I suppose if you call them then they should be able to advise you.
