Current collection… what to add next?

For context the 116500LN was my grail watch and I though I’d be one and done. But then I realized wearing it everyday I started to lose the appreciation I once had for it and so I decided to get the Pelagos 39 as my everyday work watch and save my panda for weekends or outings (once again restoring that magical feeling every time I get to wear it). At this point I though I had a perfect 2 watch collection and didn’t need anything else. But now I’m craving something with something with some color in the dial. I’ve been eying either a DJ41 or DJ36 blue or green dial on jubilee but also open to other ideas, maybe hulk or Pepsi?? Any ideas to round off the collection?

Just looking for ideas.. ideally I would want them all but that’s not realistic so In this case I’m just asking for suggestions on what other collectors might go for next.

Blue Motif 126234 on jubilee or Yellow or Red 126000. Either would be a pop of color and so comfy!

Well I guess I’m not a collector, I just buy what I want regardless of what other people think. I often suspect that I’m having more fun.

Maybe narrow down sport or classic?

You have two sport watches, so maybe classic because you don’t have any. Or stick with sport because that’s your thing.

Start there?

Surely we need to know your budget? It’s all very well people suggesting, say, a DD; for most people that’s a pretty aspirational watch, though.

If it were me, I would go with a DateJust on a jubilee. The slate dial roman-numeral is stunning and pairs beautifully with the Daytona. The slate has a subtle sunburst effect and the lacquered romans have a dark green outline that is very tasteful. You could also go with the new mint dial or one of those fluted motif dials (blue or mint). If configured to a jubilee bracelet, you'd have 3 different styles of bracelet (brushed, PCL, jubilee) and that is a great variety to what you have.

Here's a visual representation (Not mine -- from exhibition models):

Current collection… what to add next?

Something with color. Something blue. DJ41 with a fluted bezel on a jubilee bracelet.

Nothing to round off. Then you will need to square it off. It never ends. I would not buy another watch until a specific piece strikes your fancy, and you want to add that peculiar watch. Buy what you like when you know what you like is.

I would keep what you have and add a Date Just. I would go with the blue dial, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. A classic.

You have a chronograph and a diver, you are missing a classic which could very well be a Datejust in the color of your choice.

This can be a never ending situation OP

The obvious professional Rolex reference would be a GMT (also adds a pop of color).

You could also add a PM Day date, or DJ or another brand.
