When you get messages like these

Do you:

A) hide in the closet, put your head between your knees, and kiss your ass goodbye, or
B) do you run outside to check out the cool tornado?

I picked B.

Option C: Run outside with your smartphone and make a video while screaming look, look...

Geepers … we don’t get tornados here in our parts. I’d be inclined to take shelter

It was on the ground for 2.5 miles heading our way. By the time it got to us, it dissipated, but leaves and twigs were dropping from the sky all over our neighborhood, including my yard. Apparently, tornados suck up debris high into the sky, and as the storm dies down, it starts dropping the debris back to the ground as it progresses forward. I never knew that. That’s something I learned today.

So my house was in the debris fields. Lots of drama…

My MIL rode one out in her bathtub as it ripped the roof off her Memphis home. She says A.

Glad it lifted before going further. Better than fish from the sky...

Waterspouts on lakes and shallow bays have this habit...

I go outside of my mountain top estate and gander at the poors in the valley. Pretty cool to see all the stuff blowing all around.

I've spent countless times huddled in the basement surrounded by watches, basses, and occasionally the wife.

I call the ex and remind her to roll the trashcan out to the curb.

For true Floridians that means it's time to throw a party. Break out the booze and buds....
