Car Love Thread

My Wrangler that I bought new in 2012. Took me everywhere I needed her to. All 180,000+ miles. Did all the maintenance and repairs myself.

Was planning on keeping her forever but age and ruthless off-roading caught up to her. Upkeep was starting to take up a lot of time and money. I also take care of mom and she was having a hard time getting in. It was a hard decision to make but I sold her. Thankfully, Jeep’s retain value really well and I almost got what I paid for her.

Here’s the current daily driver. My first Subaru and what a great car! After breaking her in, I decided I could squeeze a lot more performance out of her for relatively cheap. After a few days work, she now runs on ethanol. Planning on doing auto cross in the fall.

Also finally cleaned up the 3rd bay in the garage and planning on picking up a weekend car for myself. Undecided but it’s between a 718GTS, 992 GT3, or stay Japanese and go NSX. Will likely be asking you for advice on the above Seth!

My daily drivers!

I saw a gunmetal grey looking AMG GTR when I was out on Woodward yesterday. Tried snapping a pic(he was at the stop light while I was filling up) wasn't quick enough to snap it unfortunately! But my first thought was of you and to get a pic to post it on one of the car threads. Such a cool car

Wow, some absolutely super cars on display, keep em coming, I love looking at the pics. I got a new Mini Countryman last month, absolutely love it. The colour is called "Enigmatic black," sometimes it looks deep black, others, like in the photo it looks deep blue.

I love your style Seth! Cars are my first love - everything from american muscle, trucks, exotics, you name it I love it. Definitely have my preferences, will try to keep reposts to a minimum with some of the current fleet below:

F250 Tremor - Office #1
6.2L Raptor - Office #2
GT350 - Stick shift 458
812SF & 458 - Last and the best in their class
1975 F250(s) - 'Merica
1970 F250 - Extra 'Merica
FJ40 - Favorite
C3 Corvette - First built
Miscellaneous project cars in various states of disassembly - ADHD

It's a sickness but I don't want the cure.

Car Love Thread

Cars are my first love.

Current fun car is a 991 GT3 in mexico blue that I’ve had for 5 years. This will probably always be in my stable because it’s my absolute favorite color on a Porsche and given where the market is going I probably can’t get another :)

Also have a current gen F90 BMW M5 that will likely get sold soon for something else...

The Ferrari Roma has me really intrigued and looks even more incredible in person. Wife wants an SUV so probably start with that this year and maybe go full idiot and add a V12 Ferrari after that

Love the GT3. Such an amazing drivers car. On the Roma, I drove one a few weeks ago and I was soooo impressed. It blew my expectations. I actually enjoyed that drive much more than the F8.

My go to car is a 1975 Alfa Romeo Spider. No computers, no touch screens, no GPS, no cruise control, no power windows, no alarm, no Tire Pressure Monitoring sensors, no electric convertible top...nada. zero. zilch...and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Just a four cylinder engine, a five speed transmission and stunning looks.

Great cars all, would love to own a Porsche someday, have toyed with the idea of a pre-owned Tesla but my real goal would be the Mercedes GT in Matte Blue.

Maybe if I sell some watches?

For now this blue will have to do, my wife's Honda Accord Touring

And a few more of my S-Class

When my wife saw the interior and said "Wow" I knew I was good to go.

After Xpel PPF and full ceramic coat
