Cant decide between DJ 36/41
Hi
I am looking at buying my next watch, either a DJ or OP 36/41mm and cant decide if 41mm is too big, as my wrists are pretty much 6 inch (maybe a tad over) and quite skinny. I have previously tried on a DJ 41 and it didnt feel too big but has a large wrist presence . But im thinking a 36mm will be lighter so easier to wear, as i have a sub nd (40mm) which i dont find big but not sure if it looks right? I have attached some pictures. I am looking at buying: Dj 36 oyster and smooth blue or Dj 41 oyster and smooth rhodium or OP green 36/41 Thanks |

36 all the way for a DJ in my opinion, although go with the one you like the best on your wrist.. I just feel like the 36 is more classic for the Datejust

My wrist is 6.5 inches and flat, I would suggest a 36mm Datejust. I wear mine as a dress watch and I find this size works best for me for this purpose.
Here are some photos for reference: |

36mm ... 100%. The 41 will look out of proportion. Good luck!

With a wrist that slender, why is this even a question?

The 36 is a great size. 41s look cool but look and feel just a little too big for a day to day wear.

36. I have a 6.5” wrist and picked up a 36mm Tudor Date Day and it fits like a dream. I have watches that range up to 42mm. 36-39 is perfect for me they’re just not common. :(

Here's my DJ36 on my 6.5" wrist
compared to a DD40 I have a DJ41 too, so if you want that wrist shot too, I will make one.

36mm DJ I'd say. Feel lucky...price and availability is probably a lot better.
This is DJ41 on a 7 1/4 inch wrist.... |

36 would look better. datejusts and daydates look worse when they're big on someones wrist versus a sub

Cant decide between DJ 36/41
At 6 inch wrists easily a DJ36
I have 7 inch wrists and I ended il preferring 36 to 41. Especially if fluted. The smooth bezel imho is easier to pull off as an oversized watch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks sounds like its a clear result! I am going to the AD tomorrow so will go for the 36, i think it will make me more likely to keep the watch on as im always taking off the sub when on the pc as it comes in the way!

For your wrist size, 36mm will be proportional. If you like the feel & style of larger watches get the 41mm. Either way you are getting a classic watch.

Just noticing these pics. I mean its big and looks ok because sports models are usually larger. It doesn't appear to hang over your wrist so...
I wouldn't want a DJ that was that big on 6" wrist. So I think 36mm will be most comfortable and look the best. |

You can wear either but the 36 will fit you better. If you want to talk yourself into the 41 that's fine. You can certainly pull it off, but again the 36 will look at fit better on your wrist.

36. It’s a classic watch and the proportions are just better in the smaller size. It’ll fit you better and you later won’t regret it when the dinner plate size fad is finally over.

I think the 36mm would look better on you. I have a 7 inch wrist and can wear either but I prefer the 36mm as it just looks more proportionate but I do appreciate some people would just think it looks small. I love my DJ36 I think it is perfect at 36mm. I also have the OP 36 and the Tudor Prince Date+Day which wears the same.
