That's not bad if you're buying from an AD..
I think that list is about $2300, but they are begining to be more difficult to find... If it's from an individual, you can do better..

I'd say thats kinda high...I bought mine 2 weeks ago from an AD for $1610.

That said, the OP is in the UK. When you factor in shipping costs, customs (I don't know, but I assume that's a factor), etc., $1780 may well be a very good price. Also, I think a number of AD's in the US are selling out - when I bought mine, it was the 4th one the AD had sold that morning (before noon his time), and he had only 20 or so left - this was a few weeks ago.

Cool and its just about to end in less than 2 minutes. Still that is over $1,600.00 USD when shipping is included if no one bids within the next minute and a half. So all in all it would work out to more what it should be

A bit high, but not outrageous. A friend of mine purchased this watch from Authenticwatches.com at about the same price. He also owns a TT Black Sub Date, but the Omega is now his everyday watch.
