Rolex Bluesy hard to get?.
Good afternoon guys!
Recently I saw a Bluesy in the wild and what a stunning watch!. That gold/blue combo is deadly and I want one :-). I called a couple of ADs around where I live(Milwaukee) and none have the Sub C 2 tone Bluesy(model 126613LB) or know when they are getting one. I thought this would be an easier model to get as it’s a two tone and on the gray market, they go for not much above retail. Anyone else have luck getting one recently?. I’m getting it to my celebrate my 25 year wedding anniversary so buying new is important. Not sure what to do now. I’ve been out of the Rolex game for a while now so wasn’t sure what to expect. Thanks in advance!. |

Everything is still very hard to get. Would you consider buying new from a grey/used dealer? That’s really the best way to source one.

Definitely looks like it!. Buying from an AD just feels more special to me!. Especially since it’s to mark a special event. Hopefully this craziness will end sooner than later!.

There are people who say we’ll never see sport Rolexes in the case again. Not that they will be rare, but that ADs will always gatekeep them now. If you want to buy from an AD, you may need some purchase history, but if you shop around and do the dance pretending that you are on a list, some AD may call you. Depends on how much of that you want to do and how long you are willing to wait. Used Bluseys are below msrp on the secondary market, so it’s not something I’d do, but I get the sentimental component. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To be sure it’s not fantastical to think you can get one at an AD with no purchase history. It’s not a steel Daytona. It can happen - OP just needs to work the system a bit and try a few ADs and walk in and get to know them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think it would be a relatively short wait for one. Go in person to your nearby dealer(s) and ask for one, mention that you will be a buyer when they call you.

That is a wonderful watch. Fortunately, it is one, however, that you can find from an AD at retail with a little bit of searching (and reaching out with consistency). Good luck to you.

Appreciate all the input!. So I called all the authorized dealers in my state and let them know I’m interested. Should I call dealers in different states or will they not deal with me?.

I've been offered multiple WG Subs in the past few weeks, its seems those are starting to show up. Bluesy could be coming up behind it.

It really depends on what the AD market looks like in Houston and the supply going to those dealers. It may be easier to get somewhere but much harder somewhere else. It would be impossible to quickly get one from an AD in my area. Hopefully, Houston is a lot better.

OP you could check Chicago. I started my sub search in March and during that first month I saw a TT Sub ready for purchase that day. I'm looking for SS so I passed but it was in the display.
If you're interested in the store name, it was CD Peakcock in Oakbrook. |

Thank you!. Just called them. They only have a solid gold blue Sub. He told me to come in and leave my info in case something comes in.

It depends what your definition of easy is. Are they easy to get? Yes, compared to other models.
Can you walk into an AD and get one. No, you might have to wait anywhere from 1 month to 1 year depending upon where you live. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
