Yachtmaster Second Hand Problems
I recently received a yachtmaster. I am not sure of the model year or anything. I am still trying to learn about Rolex's. Mine has a problem where the second hand keeps getting stuck at the thirty second mark(six). If I give it a nice gentle "love tap" it will resume functioning, but I cannot continuously do that every minute. for the experts out there what are some of the possible causes for this problem.

Sounds like you need to have it looked at. Could be a couple of things, or just needs plain ole service. If you bought it from a dealer, then I would contact the seller and have them correct the issue under warranty, unless there is no warranty. Let us know what happens. Also, I doubt it would help since its stopping at 30 seconds every time, but try giving it a full 40 winds. Sometimes power reserve issues can cause erratic behavior.

Is it genuine? Maybe the dial/hands have been taken off recently for a service or a dial/aftermarket dial change/swap and they are not in the correct position.
Its very unusual for a hand to stop at the same place ona regular basis and it not be related to the fitting of the hands. W c |
