Two sporting events tonight: game 4 (MLB...go Kansas!) and 'clasico'!!!! (our two professional soccer teams play tonight!).

My son cheers for one of the teams, my daughter and myself for the other...

Start up with a Bocanegra (pilsner) and 1800 white tequila. Tacos as snacks.

I've never had goat. It must be good if you eat it though because you never seem to eat anything I don't salivate over, Gerardo! Can you describe the taste and texture? Saludos, muy amigo!!!!!!!

Meat is very (VERY) tender but it does not tear in strings like pork. There are two kinds: baby goat (only milk fed) and goat (grass fed). On baby goat, flavor is smooth and even, pairs nicely with easy herbs; while goat has a very strong flavor, most times mint jelly is used as pairing to break the strong flavor.

If y have it for the first time, I would do baby goat first, as goat has a unique taste that some people do not like. Some say, take smoked pork. Then multiply the smokey flavor times 10.

Thanks Gerardo! I want to try it now! When I can find baby goat (which I'm sure will be a challenge here in upstate NY) I'll pm you for a recepie . I've been wanting to get a salsa recepie from you too. Have a great Sunday!!!!

We'll...there are 2 daily nonstop flights to LGA salsa: sure! What will you be using that for? (Not the same for beef, fish, seafood, etc....)

I'm trying to shed 20 more pounds and every time I see your food pictorials I want to fall off the wagon. I want to dive into a tub full of marrow with a bottle of tequila in my hand.
