New member saying hello
Hello! Have recently joined, and have enjoyed lurking for a bit. Nice board!
I believe 2006 will be the year where I get my first Rolex. I originally wanted an Explorer I (I love that classic black dial), but too bad it does not have a date. I then moved to SS Datejusts with Oyster bracelets, but none of the dials I've seen 'smiled at me'. Then I ran across a Turn-O-Graph and that one did grab me. So at this point, I'm thinking SS Oyster TOG, but have not decided on black or gray dial. I am looking for scans of the different dials available for the SS Oyster TOGs. I've seen good scans of white on SS, but I'm looking to get the black or gray dial. Can anyone help? Thanks. Miguel |

Welcome aboard, Miguel! I suggest you take a look at this thread and have a chat with Micah (Molex) : http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ighlight=16200
It's not a TOG, but that's gotta be one of the best-looking SS DJs around.

Hi and welcome Miguel, weigh all your options as to which watch you want.. go to your AD and try one each of the models. The one which looks you in the eye saying I like your wrist is the one to buy!!!

Welcome to TRF, Miguel. Glad you stopped lurking and joined this madhouse.
As for the one to get, Earl got it right. Go to one or more ADs and try on as many different ones as you can. Some of them will call to you. But one will sing a love song to you. It will look and feel perfect on your wrist. That's the one to get. Whether it's a TOG, a Sub, an EXP, a DJ, a GMT doesn't matter right now. It's sort of like porn. You can't define it, but you know it when you see it. Same with the right watch. You can't quite define which one it is, but you'll know the moment you put it on. Good luck on the hunt. That can be the best part of the whole deal.

Wow, what a great welcome! Thanks, guys! I live in the US but I'm down in El Salvador (where I grew up) this week. I will be going to a wedding, and I expect some of the people in the wedding to be wearing their best :-) That means Rolex down here -- so I'm hoping to strike conversations with some of my buddies / family and see some of these models in person. If any one comes across TOG scans, pls PM me!
