I would LOVE to see a pen forum! I think watches and pens go hand in hand. Er, wrist and hand?

Personally, I was never into pens, but I'm sure we do have a number of pen collectors on TRF who would be overjoyed to have such a section on our forum.

I was going to suggest a pen sub forum, but didn't want to offend anyone as TRF is just great as it is.

Personally I do think that a place to discuss writing instruments would be very beneficial!

As I said in another forum post: "It just ain't fittin' for a man to be seen with a 8K timepiece on his wrist and a 4 dollar pen in his pocket! Absurd!!!"

Fine timepieces and writing instruments just compliment each other and say something about the man in possession of them IMO.

Lots of luck on attaining that one Steve. It's my understanding that those nibs are just drastically hard to find. Oblique triple broad! Juicy!!!!

Bumping this old thread. This is generally what I use at work...not pictured a smaller MB that I managed to snap in half in my pocket, visiting the shop soon to see what replacement parts will cost. I'm not into pens at all but will be reading this subsection to learn some new stuff.

Yes, Kai and you have influenced me too to buy pens

I just hope my last transaction doesn't turn into a scam-action for me Still waiting for the seller to refund to come through....

I adore Mont Blanc, although I must admit that perhaps Waterman pens write better

Guys, don't even consider going shopping together. When one of you attempts to apply the proverbial "brakes" in a store, the other one will discourage you. Both of you need to stay off ebay (and especially avoid Pen City!).
