Consolidate or not?

New to forum. Joined to get your collective “expert” opinions. I have a Rolex Deep Sea, Bluesy, Explorer II and a Batgirl. Considering selling/exchanging some to buy Yellow gold or Smurf sub. Thoughts?

Go for it! I’m just trading Sea Dweller and Milgauss for a Hulk, with cash adjustment. Keeping my Pepsi. Rolex are there to be worn and enjoyed!

That’s what I’m thinking. Currently not getting enough wear out of any of them.

Get rid of the deep sea and bluesy for either a Starbucks or Cookie Monster. I’m not much on precious metal for divers but white gold isn’t bad. Prefer to save that for day date, PP, AP.

All awesome watches. I think I would keep what you have to give some options and diversity in it all.

Go for it. I'd trade the DeepSea and Bluesy.

I would.

Give up everything but the GMT.

PM Sub and a SS GMT is a dynamic duo.

I would contact several Trusted Sellers and see what the values of your watches are and what it would take to do a trade. If the numbers are right then go for it.

DSSD and Bluesy for a WG sub is what I would recommend unless you are looking for a blingy dive watch. Do it if you really want a PM sub. You only live once and if you look at your collection and you are not happy then make a change. I have the new WG sub and love it. Very understated yet heavy. Good luck on your choice.

Welcome to the forum

I prefer the variety you have currently. That said, if you don’t wear some of them it’s never a bad idea to consider consolidating

Would you be happy with one PM watch as your only? I'd always want at least one SS piece to be in the rotation.

Yellow gold diver and the BLNR would be a nice combo.

I’d keep the GMT and then consolidate the rest

id probably keep what you have for diversity in the collection, but if a Smurf is on your bucket list in life, let the deep Sea and bluesy go as they would be redundant with a Smurf. both can be required from a trusted seller if you miss them. Smurf, batgirl and ex II would be a nice rounded sea air land collection.

Gold is addictive- nothing like the heft of a solid gold piece.

Agree. I did a few consolidation moves last year and it was best thing I did. Had too many pieces. Went for PM that are now my favorites.
