It's my parents car but i have the right to use it from time to time. To be honest my car is a Volkswagen Golf it's a pretty and normal car compared to the super bling bling bentley that everybody is saying oh my gosh what a car.I hate these cars I prefer normal cars. Anyway here is a pic of my car. It was purchased from italy.

I think in America that VW is called the Golf? The most popular VW in America seems to be the Jetta. You see them everywhere!

They recently renamed the Golf back to Rabbit in the US, which apparently the more popular name of that model. In Europe I believe the Golf/Rabbit is called the Polo. Seems the sport name isn't as popular.

There was once a VW Fox in the US, not sure if it was a predecessor to the Jetta, or concurrent to it. My 1982 VW Jetta had a Fox steering wheel, the logo in the center was a "Fox" so easy to tell.

I think the VW Thing was the oddest of all the VW's.

Oh, I see a couple of the Bentley's during my work commute. Scary seeing someone daily driving something the cost of a condominium.

i think it's a quartz cause it must consume power from the battery of the car. It must be a quartz there is no other way.

They are ok. the funny thing with this car crash was that the car was moving with 30 kilometers per hour and one maniac hit our car with 120 kilometers. It's so ironic. People buy this car cause it's luxurious and it's build for speed and actually my parents don't even drive it. It's so ironic . Anyway the car can be fixed and it doesnt matter if you crash a car. the most important thing are people's lives which cannot be replaced.

Surprised that it could be fixed- the car looks like a total loss, you can clearly see the structural damage on it. I've seen cases where there was a lot less damage and the car was still declared a total loss. Good to know the car did its job well of protecting the occupants, the #1 priority in an accident.

I have no clue if this car can be fixed . It's not my job and i don't deal much with this car since i have mine. Insurance companies will sort it out

No the accident didn't happen in athens. It doesn't really matter. The thing that matters is that everything is ok

Sorry about the accident, Frostie... Hope everybodiy's OK. As for Volkswagens, there is a small but totally dedicated community here in the US all about the VW TDI. I know because I'm one of them. We'd love to have the choices the rest of the world enjoys when it comes to diesel technology and car models. TDI sales here in the US are pretty low, far less than 10%. Combined with the Nox hostile pollution standards, the future of passenger car diesels is in peril. With the use of Biodiesel, emissions are actually lower than gas fueled cars in two out of three areas. More importantly, it breaks the mid-east dino fuel connection. Regardless, love your VW and here's my highly modded Golf...

At 24psi boost, 170hp, 325ft/lbs torque and 47 mpg, what's not to like...

Velitsko , I use to live in Athens (kolonaki) when i was a kid , i remember
looking at the watch shops in the Athens Hilton ; are there any watch shops there
any more??

Is Campion school still around?

I think that there are still shops but i haven't been to athens for many years.i just admire parthenon a lot. I am currently living in thessaloniki. But i travel a lot during summers because of business obligations. I am going to athens this spring to buy a watch allthough i hate the greek AD because they are way overpriced. I was thinking of purchasing the watch from switzerland but i don't know' time will show. Now concerning the car insurance companies are going to sort it out.

Frostie... you asked about Bentley cars in America. I live in a tiny community here in Georgia (population about 20K) and the richest man in town, single and in his 50's, has two Bentley cars which were both bought in the last year. He has a silver 4 dr. sedan and a white conv. with dark blue top. Both are BEAUTIFUL! BTW, I have also seen him wearing two diff. Rolex watches, one a black Sub and not sure what the other one is. No question about it, the Bentley is a beautiful car! I know your parents were sick when their car took that lick. Cheers, Bill P.

Bentley is a reliable car. I prefer the older models and not the continental GT or the GTC which is convertible. The older models are amazing
