Day date and wis - dom

Gents - all these Incomings are driving me crazy. Congrats to all the recent owners. So, I'm curious as to your age for those willing to share. I casually mentioned to an AD sales guys that I'm probably 10 years too young for this watch, "I bet buyers are >50" I said, something like that. He agreed. So just curious how old you fortunate buyers were when you added the president.

Thanks for playing.

Ps, pictures always say a 1000 words.

most here will agree to one single thing... Buy what sings to you. Forget all stigmas and what you have read and get the watch you want. Otherwise, you will feel a void if you go with what others think you should have.

congrats on the hunt, however. It is the best part

First Rolex I purchased was a YG DD at age 46. If you want a DD just get it. You will be so glad you did.

I am 61 now but bought my first at 32! I like seeing the younger guys wearing/buying them as they might have a very long time to enjoy. Life is too short, buy what you like!

I bought mine in my late 30s, but that's the real world and that doesn't matter. In TRF terms I was 4. You are already 2 so you better get a move on.

I don't have one, and I'm 58! I'm eyeing the DD40, but it's a little over my budget right now.

I'll just say 50+. I would have bought one many years before, but did not want to one-up my Dad with his Date-Just he wore with great pride.

Lots of twenty something's with very suffisticated tastes if you ask me. More pics gents, they look amazing. I'm not really hung up on my age relative to making the purchase. Just the constant debate of gmt2 green dial, blro, DD40 etc. I kind of have several proper watches already but that things rocks. Never thought I'd warm up to fluted but all your pics seem to be helping with that. FYI - YG, black motif in the lead if I target this next. keep the pics Rollin

After reading the previous posts on this thread I think I'm too old to get my first DD. 🤔

I'm 58 and have not made the leap.

I bought this day-date 118238 two weeks ago. I'm 28. I was worried about the size as this is my smallest watch I own. I seriously love it. The size grew on me in the first hour and I never want to take off the watch. I also am glad as the watch is so classic. No matter your age work hard save up and get it.

Looking forward to your incoming.

Ha Ha. I agree. I'm 60 and no DD. I guess they only go with skinny jeans.
