One is a piece of eternal jewlery, a forever companion, full of memories if you choice it, the other is a nice gadget, with 1 or 2 years of actual life, then you have to update for another one. For me no doubt, choice your Rolex.

My answer to your questions is: either when the mood takes me or when circumstances dictate one make more sense than the other to wear.

Enjoy two fantastic watches

In our older generation household both the Mrs and myself feel we don't have to stay connected all the time.

Having an Apple Watch with all kinds of incoming mail, messages and other stuff makes me feel tired already. Who cares about the heart beat or how many steps you did during a day anyway.
Are you ever going to be free ?

Wearing a Rolex gives both of us a nice, relaxing and enjoyable feeling if that makes any sense.

No denying that the Apple Watch is beautifully made and might be a very useful tool for some

I gave up Apple Watch once I discovered Sony Wena smart bracelet, which attaches perfectly to a Rolex (mine's a YM 40mm, with the 22mm lug).

The smart bracelet can receive push notifications, vibrate and display 2 lines of text, can track steps and sleep, and can do NFC payment (UK and Japan only for now). So it replaces most of my Apple watch usage. And it opens up unlimited number of watch choices for me. The only thing limiting my watch choice is now Rolex's stock availability.....

Wear 'em both. If only one, obviously the beautiful Rolex that you will cherish for your entire life and hand down to your children over the hunk of plastic that you need to plug in every night and that will be out of date and thrown in the trash in two years

Guess you can tell I'm not the biggest fan of smart watches

That's interesting. Never heard of that before. Can you post a picture of two? These can connect to mechanical watches like Rolex???

I have heard of men wearing both, never a female. I did consider it, but feel that my small wrists might not be able to pull it off.

Gift or sell the Apple Watch. When do you ever not have a phone with you?

Counterpoint, the Apple Watch can be a very useful exercise tool when a phone holder for exercise doesn't work well (e.g. A HIIT workout).

For me, 95% of the Apple Watch functionalities are done by the iPhone. At least those that are relevant to me.

If that percentage changes specially in regards to health I might consider, but for now Rolex.

I have worn my BB58 on my left wrist and my smart watch on my right for well over a year now, and I'm not a man.
Double wristing - it's a thing.

Are you trying to be a troll asking this on the Rolex Forums

The Apple watch is just wearable technology, nothing more. It's basically a mini smartphone on your wrist. If you want watch wear your Rolex

I tried to use my Apple Watch (Series 2 stainless steel), however I felt that I just missed my DJ too much. I even purchased the higher price apple watch thinking that the higher weight would be better. I was wrong.

However now I'm trying to sell my Apple watch on eBay considering it gets such low usage.

More and more people are wearing a watch on their watch arm and a computer on the other. Sometimes an Apple or a Fitbit.

I think it will become more and more common that wrist computers will be worn by most people and that they will wear what they want on the other arm.
