Thread picture size
Is there a setting I can select that resizes attachments/pictures to a standard size?
Fed up of reading threads with mahoosive pictures/photos attached/inserted that causes the main body of the forum to resize to accommodate the picture |

If you use a free picture host like photobucket to upload they have a in built facility to resize your pictures recommend around 900X900 pixels for forum use.And agree some post pictures of crazy sizes when forum rules clearly state around 900X900 pixels. In windows you can resize with paint and plenty of free apps on net to resize pictures.

Thanks for reply Peter. I don't mean my own pictures, I always post pics at 800x600 or less which is standard forum size. What I wanted to know is if there is a forum setting that automatically resize other posters pictures that are above the 900x900 size.
This is the kind of thing I'm on about: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=442573 The pictures are huge so the forum body resizes to accommodate them but makes the thread text tiny and I have to zoom in to read the text image.jpg |

If you read your own help for us you will note that there is no provision to automatically resize huge photos from outside sources like Photobucket and the like..
Sometimes, if we find it, we will properly resize photos - other times we will bin one with too large photos because moderation is sometimes very time consuming.. The ones you cite do have large photos, but on my pc they do not change the font or anything else.. The picture is hidden off-screen and I ignore that part of it.. Must be a function of your monitor/ipad.
