Interesting observation and I don't disagree. Beautiful watch though from both AP and Zenith.

One truth is that Zenith Defy was the steel sport watch 3 years before Genta's Royal Oak in 1972.

The second truth is that Zenith did everything to the design of modern Defy to look like Royal Oak to the point it look pathetic...

And you missed the biggest imitiation on the third watch because you put the standard tapisserie tourbillon instead of the sunray tapisserie one...
