Today I was going to buy a GMT II and I haven't bought it

I was willing to buy a GMT from 1988, but when I saw that bracelet 78360 had endlink 501B and code “S 5”, I already gave up. To be correct, the bracelet would have to have endlink 501 and the “M” code.

You know what the crazy thing is? You can replace the end links in like… 5 seconds!

The very first Rolex I ever bought was a watch head only. It was vintage, of course, and I was able to source the correct bracelet and end links for the watch. It wasn’t that difficult. My son still wears that watch. You should have bought it.

Maybe I’ll buy it since it’s a birth year watch for me. Where can I find it OP?

You should have bought the watch IMO, and then source for the bracelet, not sure that will be too hard to figure out.

I'll give it another chance, I'd just be looking for an appropriate N or M closure for your year.
Dial, hands, bezel... everything is original to its time. and also has original box and documents.
