Okay... BP is officially DOA... This for a 70th anniversary? Plus the nonsense Omega+BP release.... What a way to wash the brand down the drain.

Still happy with my Bathyscaphe ;)

This is not for me, and again personally not seeing the value here.
At $32k you must be a real BP enthusiast...

No, it's a 9ct gold alloy with part of the alloy being bronze.
It's not 9ct gold with bronze.

Seriously, is this some type of ridiculous attempt to validate the swatch? Thirty Gs on a $4 nato?

Even if you find the aesthetics ok, which I don’t, it’s going to a top heavy dog. I’m sorry, I find this to be a disaster of a release.

Movement looks super pedestrian to me for 32k USD. If this exact watch was titanium or SS for 20k I may have been tempted. If it was like the old days and it was readily available 30% off maybe.

Train wreck of a 70th anniversary. Now a five year wait for in case anyone has a touch of optimism remaining.

After seeing the videos of the new release, ya know, maybe i've been slightly too critical of the $400 Swatch version. They really are ok youthful watches. Could see my wife's daughter maybe wearing one.

Naaaaaaaaa.

On the plus side, like JLC, if you wait on the secondary market for a few years there should be decent deals sans service cost.

PS: Is the Swatch Group now following Richemont?
.
.

Added: Check out the Omega Heritage Seamaster 300 with bronze / gold case with METAS certification as ut offers much more for less than half the 'pain.

I like it, but I had expected something in steel and reasonably affordable (yet still Ł14k).

Hard pass. All they had to do is reissue the original 1:1, and it would have been a hit.

Don’t dislike it at all. But the price and the strap are a tough proposition. Yes, the strap can be replaced but even a tropical strap which costs the same would be a significant upgrade. Big issue I have with nato is the buckle doesn’t fit anything but an equal width strap… which is usually only a nato.

I really don't see that many folks shelling out over $30K for this. They could have gone the safe route and done this in steel for $18K, but I guess even that is asking too much. 9k gold and bronze alloy? GTFOH.

I like it, but I am not in the $30k watch market either. I do think the price is high, but they are comparable to the Omega Moonwatches in Sedona Gold or Moonshine Gold on leather straps, those are just shy of $30k. Like everyone else, I would like a version in steel, non-limited, but that is just a pipe dream.

Edit: Someone else pointed out to me the closer Omega alloy is used in the Seamaster 300, a $13k watch, not the PMs I used as examples. My bad, I tend to gloss over details on watches out of my price range.

Sounds like non limited act 1 is coming based in what folks heard from their AD. At least everyone will be happy then ;)

Great look. Nice to have a traditional sized PM version of the FF. I wish they offered a bronze gold buckle in a width that would work for normal sailcloth straps.

This is on my list.

People say this every time, and every time they’re wrong. BP is clearly not interested in a 40/41mm regular production FF.

Leaving this movement exposed is a stones throw from an unwanted trench coat flashing in Central Park. It’s the fat man walking the nude beach in Barcelona. Cover that thing up. Blur it in photos like Japanese porn so we can only see the parts that are pleasing to the eye.

No...make it stop!!

Normally I'd say someone is going to get fired over this. But unfortunately I think this epic failure is coming from the top.

Let’s hope this makes it reg prod. Perfect in every regard. Rose gold tourbillion in 42mm would be the best diver ever made.

Geezus, they have to be kidding.

I don't get it....at all. Don't get the pricing most of all. $32k? Really?

It's almost like they are intentionally trying to nuke this brand. This is subtraction by addition.
