2006 Acura TL but may consider a SUV or a sports car sometime in the future.

Drivin this, not much of a car guy myself. Although my only highend watch at the moment is my SMP, the fully loaded interior with leather and wood grain makes if still feel a little luxurious. I would not feel odd driving this and wearing a rolex.

My watch is probably worth at least as much as my Honda Civic, but who cares? It's paid for and gets 36 MPG! That means more money for watches!

I'm in the same boat. Rocking a 2008 Honda Civic Si with 105,000 miles and it runs like a top. No additional costs other than tires and breaks and I haven't had a car payment in 5 years. Most of my watches are worth more than my car at this point :)

I ride a bike 24/7/365 and my wife, who also wears a Rolex, drives a Chevy Aveo.

However, she has a deposit on 2009 Honda Fit, delivered in August or September.

Just curious, why the deposit on a 2009 vehicle waiting to be delivered?

I have a 2002 Land Rover Freelander I use for work, but my fun car, which doesn't go out much due to gas prices is a 97 BMW M3 that has had some work done, it is supercharged by Dinan.

Oh I have a 1985 Mercedes 190e too, love the vintage Benz

No, my Rolex and Honda CRV aren't really a match. However, the 30+ mpg is worth having the car based on my commute to work. Allows me to save on gas and apply to a new Rolex!!!

!

Well, I have had lots of great cars in my day - and a few trucks as well - now I am car-free! Living a very simple lifestyle, and I can walk to work! I don't even own a bicycle! Couldn't even afford a car now if I wanted one! I was born in 1949, and growing up, especially in the 60's and 70's, was when I thought cars were really exciting! You could really tell one model from the other then, now so many of them look "generic" to me.
In any case, give me an Aston Martin DBS, and the only reason I want it, is so I can get the limited edition Jaeger LeCoultre watch that is only available to owners of that car!
I was talking to one of my best friends today. He currently has 3 cars, a new Mercedes SLK, a Mercedes Smart Car, and a Miata. We jokingly talked about the fact that he is selling the Smart Car, and what he is asking for it, is less than what my Milgauss is worth! He recently "splurged", and spent $200. on a Hugo Boss watch! He just rolls his eyes every time I get a new watch. But being the dear friend he is, he never criticizes, just gives me a hard time, and I know he is happy for me.
My response to people who just do not understand, is that a fine watch is simply the finest piece of artwork or jewellery that money can buy, going far beyond the aesthetic pleasures.
Cheers,
Carl

Of course, I constantly joke to my friends and quote exactly what my signature says:
